While providing your photo ID and SSN are helpful to a production for payroll purposes, it is not a requirement to set up online profile.
This is extremely important – it is ONE PROFILE PER PERSON for all our projects. Do not create separate profiles under different emails. It will not increase your chances of being booked, and it could actually result in us contacting you less for work. Create ONE profile with the email that you use for extra work and/or that you check frequently.
When searching for specific types, we may post on Facebook a reference “REF” code – this reference code should only be used by people who currently do not have a profile on the EP Casting platform. It is found under the “How did you hear about us section” when completing a new application.
If you want to be considered for the role that has the reference code because you meet the requirement for the role, and you already have a profile on the EP Casting Portal platform, you should go into your profile and update it with the appropriate category.
If you can’t find the appropriate category, then send an email to the show posting for the role, and let us know that you want to be considered, and we can add you on our end. Try updating on your own before contacting us.
When we contact you for a role through the EP Casting platform, it will ask you to follow links to answer availability checks, bookings and call info. Follow the links to respond. Do not hit “reply” to the email to respond. For call info, you must "respond" and then you are taken to a second page with all the details, then scroll all the way down the page and click "check-in" button to complete the process.

PLEASE NOTE: You can respond to availability checks, bookings, messages and call info on your phone. But you can not login into the Casting platform via your phone - you will get a user error message, and it will not recognize your password. You must access your EP Casting profile and update your calendar on a computer.
We can’t stress enough that your online profile is as complete as possible – we would rather have more information and photos than needed. You should have at least TEN candid photos with a variety of looks, i.e. casual, business, athletic, upscale, formal party attire, blue collar, etc. The EP Casting platform allows up to 50 photos. People are missing out on jobs because they do not have enough photos.
Each photo should have decent lighting against a neutral wall with no filters, no hats and no sunglasses. The more information you have on your profile, the more likely you are to receive an availability check for a project.
For example, one incredibly important field requested is to provide us with your ethnic look. Many of these productions want us to accurately reflect the population in the world they are creating on screen. Help Us - Help You - Find a Job!
You must list an age or an age range, or you will be left out of searches. We know that everyone is looking for the fountain of youth, but for the most part, people can only play within a seven-year range of their true age.
If you list an age that does not accurately reflect your true age, we will not find you in searches for your real age, and you will not be considered for roles that are younger than the age we perceive you to be.
If you have a car, make sure to let us know in your profile. When you are prompted for information about your vehicle, make sure to list: YEAR, COLOR, MAKE AND MODEL. It would also be helpful if you uploaded a photo.
Once you have a complete your online profile with your details and availability updated (you update this on your calendar in your profile from a computer), you will automatically appear in Casting Director’s searches.
The EP Casting Portal operates nationwide, and in some states, there is a charge to the artist. However, when booking a project with 4 Star Casting, it’s completely FREE OF CHARGE TO YOU!
