THE BEAR SEASON 2 COVID-19 CALL INFO PAGE​

By having accepted your booking, you have accepted BOTH the filming date AND the corresponding Covid test date according to the below schedule:

TESTING SCHEDULE
​FOR BOOKINGS:

If you are booked to: 
  • Film on Monday - you will Test Friday (the studio gives this one combination as an exception to a 48-hour turnaround as the lab is CLOSED on weekends) 
  • Film on Tuesday - you will Test on Monday (this is the only 24-hour turnaround combination accepted in the week) 
  • Film on Wednesday - you will Test on Monday 
  • Film on Thursday - you will Test on Tuesday 
  • Film on Friday - you will Test on Wednesday

Covid Rate: $62/4
*Please note that this rate is only paid after you have made it to set for the shoot day and is added as a bump to your set voucher. This means that the testing payment is contingent upon you attending the filming day. Failure to show to a filming date will forgo your testing payment unless it was deemed by Health and Safety that you are not eligible to work due to a positive Covid test, in which case you will be paid for the Covid test day only as you will then be unable to work for 5 days.

NOTE: If you take a Covid Test on a date that you film, you do not receive the testing fee.

TESTING TIME TABLE:

Testing Call Times for adults: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Testing Call Time for students in school: Anytime from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
*PLEASE NOTE: all minors who will be accompanied by a guardian on set MUST have that SAME guardian Covid test with them. Please make sure we know who that guardian is ahead of time so we can have them on our list for the lab.

Please try to adhere to the testing times listed above the best you can & PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LAB CLOSES PROMPTLY AT 4:00PM.

The COVID-19 test is performed by a medical facility determined and paid for by Production. We CANNOT accept a Covid-19 test from any other production or facility. You must have a COVID-19 test that produces a negative result to be able to work.

COVID TEST PARKING: Street Parking. Please find a spot where you can. The test will be quick, in and out in 5 minutes

COVID TEST CHECK-IN/HOLDING INSTRUCTIONS: Walk into the location ring the bell and let the receptionist know you are Testing for The Bear; they will take care of you from there. Please TEXT Sydne (number below) with your full name when you have completed your test.

Covid Test Contact (Please do not contact until the day of the shoot and then only if absolutely necessary): Sydne @ 312-985-6477. TEXT ONLY with your name when you arrive for your test and/or when you have completed your test. DO NOT make her track you down for a response. CALL only if there is an emergency. This number is only active 1/2 hour before your call time, do not reach out to this person for other 4 Star related matters.

​ We ask you to come during certain times for a reason—that reason being based on the lab’s open hours & the turnaround time it takes for results. If you miss your test, you cannot work.

​REGARDLESS OF MASK MANDATES IN THE AREA, ALWAYS WEAR YOUR MASK AND WEAR IT CORRECTLY! YOU STILL HAVE TO WEAR THEM! BE SURE TO SOCIAL DISTANCE! BRING A PEN!!!!!!!!!

​*Health Protocols are established individually by each production. You need to follow all the protocols. The production company is your Employer of Record, and this information will be needed if you have to report earnings for unemployment purposes. If you do not receive a voucher for this project because you are paid via W-9, we strongly suggest that you take a photo of any paperwork related to payment. While we check with each production to confirm they are following Health Protocols - You acknowledge you are going into a high-density area, and while we will make our best effort to protect you, nothing is failsafe, and if you contract COVID-19, 4 Star Casting is not liable. Any health matters that may arise would need to be directed to the production that is hiring you for this specific project.*
